Why Alpha Xi Delta?
A letter from our outgoing Membership Vice President, Madison Rothstein:
"Recruitment was always something I planned to go through freshman year when coming to Penn State. I was excited to meet new girls who as everyone always says would become my best friends, and form bonds with girls that would last a lifetime. Going into the process, I was very nervous. Talking to so many people I had never met before was nerve racking, but after the first few conversations, it became such a fun and fulfilling experience. When I walked into Alpha Xi Delta for my first party with the chapter, I immediately felt at home. The girls were welcoming, the conversations I had stood out to me, and I truly felt that AXID was a place where I belonged. Everyone always told me to “trust the process” but I didn't really believe that until I met the girls in Alpha Xi Delta. After bid day, the girls in my pledge class quickly became my best friends and the relationships I have formed with my big, and my little, are ones that I will cherish forever. Now three years later, I am our Membership Vice President helping the new PNM’s find their home. The girls of Alpha Xi Delta are so excited to meet all of the new girls who walk into our chapter, and who will hopefully call AXID their home at the end of the process".

From our new members of Alpha Xi Delta:
" I chose to go greek to find my forever friends and make amazing memories. At first during recruitment I was super nervous but once it got started I fell in love with AXID and knew that was where I belonged. You truly do find your forever home when you trust the process. I chose AXID because the girls were so sweet and genuine. I felt so welcome and comfortable being there and was always excited to see them and chat. I felt like I had known them forever. My favorite memory so far was Big- Little night. It was so exciting and made me feel even more a part of the AXID family. I love being part of xi best group of girls".
